Golden Spires 6

I entered the Wat Mai Hat Krathing Thong temple compound (what a tongue twister) yesterday morning. These temple buildings are amazing – especially when they catch the sun. While there I found a wooden bench seat in the shape of a dragon – quite appropriate at this time. There were also lots of chickens running around. I attempted some chicken type noises so that I would blend in. This unusual behaviour bewildered one of the temple dogs and it started barking at me.

This dragon was part of a wooden bench in the temple compound.

Blue is indicative of water - so this could be a Water Dragon.

About ianframe

I have worked and travelled extensively in Middle East and S.E. Asia for many years. I now live in Pattaya, Thailand. I am a keen photographer, and carry my Nikon with me everywhere. The camera is fitted with a 60mm f2.8 macro lens. Since I don't like carrying, changing or buying lenses, I use this same lens for everything. Other interests include wildlife, Chinese ink painting, Tai Chi, jogging, and composing funny verse.
