Wild Things 201

Things had not been going well on my blog walk – that is until I spied a whip snake! This fellow was quite small – probably about a metre long. I went crashing through the undergrowth to reach him before he fled the scene. He turned his head and looked at me. Snake facial expressions never change, but he did stick his tongue out a few times. I wonder what was going through his mind. I tried stroking his back, but this did not seem to please him – and he slid away.

About ianframe

I have worked and travelled extensively in Middle East and S.E. Asia for many years. I now live in Pattaya, Thailand. I am a keen photographer, and carry my Nikon with me everywhere. The camera is fitted with a 60mm f2.8 macro lens. Since I don't like carrying, changing or buying lenses, I use this same lens for everything. Other interests include wildlife, Chinese ink painting, Tai Chi, jogging, and composing funny verse.
